BMW HYDROGEN 7
With the focus on more environmentaly friendly transportation everyone is talking about the new “Hydrogen Economy”. Still it seems far off into the future. The expected release date of the much talked about Hywire from General Motors is “in about 15 years” and the price tag is in the millions of dollars. But with the Hydrogen 7 from BMW what seems like something from the future will actually hit the road this fall. The Hydrogen 7 gets it’s energy from burning liquid hydrogen in a conventional combustion engine rather than through a fuel cell. That brings the cost down without causing more pollution.
